Sifu Ann Cheung
I started studying Wing Chun Kung Fu in the mid 1980's at the Australian Kung
Fu Academy in Corrs Lane. I studied under William Cheung and David Cheung. In 1985 I became
Victorian Champion after studying Wing Chun for 9 weeks.
I achieved Australian Champion in 1988 in the middle weight division at
the Melbourne Town Hall. Special guest that year was the great Kick Boxing Champion Benny the
Jet. I went on to become a Wing Chun Kung Fu Graduate in 1991.
On returning to Queensland in the mid 1990s I
also obtained my 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo under Michael Tan
